Born in Geneva, Switzerland, she trained as a research chemist and market analyst. She moved on to perfumery in Paris in 1997. In 2007 she won the Cosmetic Valley's International Fragrance Prize. Known for her elegant simplicity, she became the in-house perfumer for fashion house Hermes in 2013.
