Known as America's greatest living perfumer, he created many classic scents, including Polo Ralph Lauren. Born in Morocco, he gained an interest in perfumery from exploring the local countryside. Later, he studied chemistry in the Grasse region of France, famous for perfumery. Always curious and scientific, he became the very first IFF Master Perfumer. Some of his favorite notes are iris, sweets, fruits, and tobacco.
