Born in Spain, moving to Switzerland at age 10, this perfumer was self-taught perfumery by the age 20. Originally inspired by the story of Guerlain, this perfumer joined Firmenich in 1970, including now their own line of scented products. They won the Prix François Coty award in 2003, and the Lifetime Perfumer Award in 2013.
